OurStory

In 1942, Don Julio González refused the reasonable path and trusted his fire. With no wealth and no safety net, he put everything behind his instinct. He borrowed the money, built his first distillery, and chose risk over restraint—all Por Amor. That defiant act of conviction ignited an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, redefining the category and turning Don Julio into the world’s first luxury tequila.
