OurStory

The legend began in 1942, when Don Julio González recognized a once in a lifetime opportunity in tequila and chose to pursue it with singular conviction. With no wealth of his own, but an unwavering devotion to the craft, he borrowed the money to build his first distillery, betting everything on a dream fueled by passion. That defining decision ignited an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, redefining what tequila could be and ultimately giving rise to the world’s first luxury tequila.
